At the request of the Kurdistan Thalassemia Society and under the directive of "Idris Nechirvan Barzani", President and Founder of Rwanga Foundation, and to ensure adequate blood supply for thalassemia patients during Ramadan, Rwanga Foundation launched a two-day blood donation campaign across Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, Baghdad, Mosul, Soran, Halabja, Kalar, Kifri, and Akre.
This campaign takes place at a critical time when thalassemia patients require continuous blood transfusions, particularly during Ramadan when blood donations significantly decrease due to fasting, creating life-threatening risks for patients.
Rwanga Foundation reaffirms its commitment to supporting patients and providing their healthcare needs, and this campaign will continue across cities throughout the Kurdistan Region.
