As part of the “You Are Not Alone” project, Rwanga Foundation, in coordination with the Directorate of Social Welfare-Erbil, organized a special celebration on the occasion of the World Declaration of the Rights of the Child day.
The children at the Erbil orphanage participated in performing songs and sharing success stories, giving insights about their lives and various activities at the center. Throughout the event, they also showcased handmade crafts and beautiful artwork in an exhibition, created using raw materials previously provided by Rwanga Foundation.
Some of the products were sold directly, while the remaining items were purchased by Rwanga Foundation as a support for these talented children.
The “You Are Not Alone” project launched in 2022 under the leadership of Mr. Idris Nechirvan Barzani, President and Founder of Rwanga Foundation and continues to this day. The project aims to establish an educational and rehabilitative system for the Erbil orphanage, organizing the children’s daily programs in a well structured educational and psychological manner.
