Rwanga Foundation Provides Complete Solar Energy System for a Village
As part of its latest environmental initiative aimed at further protecting the environment and promoting the use of clean energy, Rwanga Foundation has provided a complete solar energy system for Gulek Village in Harir.
The system now serves 36 residential units, along with a mosque, a school, and an event hall, benefiting a total of 200 residents. It includes all necessary equipment—195 solar panels, 156 batteries, and 39 inverters—delivering a total of 535 amperes.
Today, during a special ceremony, the Rwanga Foundation team gathered with the village residents to celebrate the project’s completion. The villagers expressed their gratitude to Rwanga Foundation and shared their happiness about having modern, safe technology—the solar energy system—installed in their village.
Rwanga Foundation remains committed to its ongoing initiatives and contributions in the environmental field.
