A team of three representatives from Rwanga Foundation, invited by the Erbil Chinese Consulate, visited China from 13–26 October 2026 to participate in the China–Indian Ocean Rim Higher Education Seminar, hosted by Zhejiang Normal University.
The seminar brought together 35 participants, including delegates from Indonesia, Malaysia, South Africa, Kiribati, and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
During the programme, the Rwanga team proudly introduced the Kurdistan Region to the Vice President of Zhejiang Normal University, Chinese representatives, and international delegates, sharing its geographical location, flag, history, and rich cultural heritage.
The team also explored China’s achievements in education, innovation, technology, vocational training, and sustainable development, gaining valuable insights to support Rwanga Foundation’s work in youth empowerment, education, and entrepreneurship.
