Today, in coordination with the Kifri District Mayoralty, Rwanga Foundation's Kifri office organized the (Spring and Kifri) Festival in Kifri district, featuring the participation of various parties and diverse communities.
The festival featured a diverse range of activities, including a handicraft exhibition, traditional Kurdish cuisine, and a variety of sweet treats, as well as the traditional cotton-beating (Hallaji) profession, natural flowers, a photography exhibition, beekeeping, and a section showcasing work and technology.
A special segment of the festival was dedicated to raising awareness about migration, which is a project directly implemented by Rwanga Foundation with financial support from the Government of Finland and in partnership with ICMPD, aiming to introduce legal migration and raise awareness about the dangers of illegal migration.
Another part of the festival consisted of a youth capacity-building seminar and training on writing a CV professionally. In addition to these activities, attendees benefited from health services, including blood tests for diabetes and cholesterol, excess weight checks using a BMI machine, and information regarding the World Health Organization (WHO).
