Driven by a deep sense of responsibility toward Kurdistan's nature, Rwanga Foundation took immediate action upon learning about an over 300-year-old Qazwan tree in Kani Mase subdistrict, Asehe village, Barwari Bala, which had fallen due to severe storms. Rwanga Foundation took the initiative to rescue and revive this historic tree.
A specialized and professional team, consisting of agricultural engineers and arborists (tree experts), was prepared by Rwanga Foundation, who worked scientifically to successfully restore the tree to its natural position.
This initiative by Rwanga Foundation was not merely about saving a tree, but about preserving an environmental and cultural heritage that has stood as a witness to the history of this homeland for centuries.
