As part of the development sector projects and to support and encourage local entrepreneurs, Rwanga Foundation provided necessary and primary support to a poultry farm in the village of Awena. This consisted of providing Australorp egg trays, installing a ventilation system to create a suitable and healthy environment for the poultry, along with supplying all the main equipment and necessities within the rearing hall, as well as the required amount of special poultry feed.
The project is committed to environmental sustainability; the entire farm relies on a solar energy system, which ensures the availability of continuous and eco-friendly electricity through the use of clean energy.
Rwanga Foundation continues to support livelihood projects that lead to the creation of sustainable income sources for citizens, especially in rural villages.
