The Rwanga Forests Project is a climate change mitigation initiative being implemented in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region. Today, Rwanga Foundation's team, in the presence of the President of the University of Mosul, implemented the third phase of the project on the university campus, planting an additional 3,500 trees. The project aims to emphasize environmental protection and coexistence, while also restoring Mosul's forests following the tragic events that befell the city, and combating climate change.
This phase represents the continuation of the Rwanga Forests Project in Mosul, which consists of planting 7,000 trees within the university grounds.
