Rwanga Foundation participated in the second NORAQ Advisory Board meeting held in Baghdad, with the attendance of representatives from NORAQ participating countries, the ministry of foreign affairs of kingdom of Sweden, the ministry foreign affairs of Denmark, the Finnish Immigration Service, the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration, the Iraqi National Security Advisor, the Ministry of Migration and Displacement, the Joint Crisis Coordination Centre (JCC) of the Kurdistan Regional Government, and ICMPD representatives.
During this meeting, Rwanga Foundation presented the projects implemented in 2025 related to supporting returnees, while also outlining the 2026 work plan that includes future projects and activities to continue supporting returnees and facilitating their reintegration into society.
Rwanga Foundation remains committed to strengthening international partnerships and coordinating with governmental and international organizations to provide sustained support for returnees and ensure their successful reintegration into communities across Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
