As part of the “Empowering Sustainable Livelihoods” project, the Rwanga Foundation, in coordination with the Joint Crisis Coordination Office (JCC), organized an awareness session on migration in the Zakho Independent Administration.
The session was attended by the Directorate of Migration, the Crisis Response Office, and officials from the National Referral System in Zakho.
The aim of the session was to strengthen coordination networks between governmental and non-governmental stakeholders in the city, in order to provide better services to returnees and facilitate their reintegration into the community.
The project is financially supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark and is implemented across Iraq by the Rwanga Foundation.
