Rwanga Foundation Presents the Collected Works of Hazhar Mukriyani

Erbil, February 11, 2025 – In a special ceremony attended by the President and Founder of Rwanga Foundation, Mr. Idris Nechirvan Barzani, the collected works of renowned Kurdish writer and intellectual Master Hazhar Mukriyani were officially presented. This initiative aims to preserve and promote authentic Kurdish literature and culture.

The event commenced with a moment of silence in honor of the pure souls of martyrs, followed by a moving musical performance by the Rwanga Music Group. Distinguished speakers, including event organizers and scholars who contributed to the collection of Hazhar Mukriyani's works, delivered insightful speeches highlighting the significance of his literary contributions.

The collection comprises ten significant works by Hazhar Mukriyani, which include poetry, translations, and scholarly writings:

  • Hazhar for Kurdistan – A poetry collection reflecting national and cultural themes.
  • Mem & Zin, Quatrains of Khayyam – A translation of classical literary works by Hazhar Mukriyani.
  • Sherafnama – A translated historical work offering insights into Kurdish history.
  • Hozy Gawan – A compilation of Hazhar's original writings and translations.
  • Malay Jzyri Poem Book – An explanation and interpretation of the poems of Malay Jzyri.
  • Hambana Borina (1st Volume) – A Kurdish dictionary covering letters A to D.
  • Hambana Borina (2nd Volume) – A Kurdish dictionary covering letters R to K.
  • Hambana Borina (3rd Volume) – A Kurdish dictionary covering letters G to Y.
  • Cheshty Mjewr – A unique literary composition by Hazhar Mukriyani.
  • Tafseer Quran – An explanation of the Holy Quran by Hazhar Mukriyani.

Rwanga Foundation considers this initiative a major milestone in preserving Kurdish literary heritage and ensuring that future generations have access to the profound works of Hazhar Mukriyani. This project aligns with the foundation’s mission to promote education, culture, and literature within the Kurdish community.
