International Health Sciences and Nursing (IHSAN) Symposium Successfully Concluded

January 25, 2025, Erbil, Iraq – The International Health Sciences and Nursing (IHSAN) Symposium, organized by the Rwanga Research Center in partnership with the Lebanese French University (LFU) and Rwanga Foundation, successfully took place on January 25, 2025, at the LFU conference hall. This landmark event brought together globally renowned scientists, healthcare professionals, researchers, and policymakers to address pressing challenges in the healthcare sector and highlight the critical role of nursing in improving public health outcomes.

The IHSAN Symposium served as a platform for academics, researchers, and postgraduate students to present their research findings in health and medical sciences. A total of 10 researchers shared groundbreaking insights and innovative studies, Who consist of

The event also featured 10 research Posters, an engaging panel discussion titled (Strategies to Alleviate Healthcare Pressures in Kurdistan) and various interactive sessions, fostering a collaborative atmosphere for exchanging knowledge and ideas.

The symposium emphasized the pivotal role of nursing in public health, disease prevention, and patient care. Specific examples discussed included community-based vaccination programs that increased immunization rates, innovative patient advocacy initiatives aimed at improving healthcare access, and health education campaigns that effectively raised awareness about disease prevention measures. It highlighted the significant contributions of nurses in community outreach, vaccination programs, and health education—all essential to controlling disease spread and improving public health outcomes. Additionally, the event underscored the importance of integrating advanced research, innovative practices, and community-focused healthcare solutions to address healthcare challenges effectively.
