Erbil, Iraq – October 2024 The Rwanga Foundation had the honour of hosting Austrian Ambassador to iraq Andrea Nasi during an official visit to its headquarters. The Executive Director of Rwanga Foundation, Mr. Hasan Aladin, provided an in-depth overview of the organization’s achievements over the past decade and outlined its ambitious plans for the future.

During the visit, Ambassador Nasi was briefed on Rwanga Foundation’s impactful initiatives in sustainable development, education, and youth empowerment. The discussion highlighted the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to enhance opportunities for young people, support women’s entrepreneurship, and foster community development in the region.

“The work of Rwanga Foundation over the last ten years has been instrumental in creating positive change within the communities of Iraqi Kurdistan,” said Mr. Aladin. “We are excited to share our future aspirations with Ambassador Nasi, as we continue to focus on making a sustainable impact.”

Ambassador Nasi expressed appreciation for the Foundation’s efforts and discussed potential avenues for collaboration between Austria and the Rwanga Foundation in areas of mutual interest.
