On December 17, 2021 –  The Kurdistan Regional President, Mr. Nechirvan Barzani dedicated 1 Billion Iraqi dinars as emergency support to the vulnerable families affected by the flood in Erbil.

​The allocated fund will be through the Rwanga Foundation, and it will be dedicated to:

One: providing warm food meals, three meals a day.

Two: providing house equipment for vulnerable families.  In addition to cleaning the houses, roads, and affected neighborhoods.

The mentioned support will start as of December 18, 2021, and continue until the families return to their homes. It is worth mentioning that the process of support will be cared out in coordination with the Erbil governorate and Barzani Charity Foundation.

A heavy floor hit the Erbil governorate on Friday, and it caused significant damage in several districts and neighborhoods.
