Distribution of Food for The Security and Health Teams
KURDISTAN (March 15th 2020) - Rwanga Foundation provided food for the security and healthcare teams in Erbil, Sulaimani, and Duhok.
After announcing the curfew in the Kurdistan region to prevent the spreading of Corona virus in the region, and with the aim of supporting the anti-corona operations in the three governorates. Rwanga Foundation provided meals for the Security and Healthcare teams in order to recognize their hard work during this situation.
The activity started on Sunday, March 15th 2020 in Erbil city with the support of Burger King and Al-Hayat Pepsi. The activity continued for three days in Erbil, more than 3,300 meals were prepared and distributed.
On the next day, the activity started in Duhok and Sulaimani with the preparation of 1000 meals in Duhok and 1000 meals in Sulaimani.
Rwanga Foundation also announced the #stay_home campaign on their social media for further support. The campaign included posting tips for Coronavirus prevention. Publishing online lessons for the students, and many other activities. As well as providing food baskets for more than 50 families.
