The ‘Creating Environmental Awareness Through Art’ Project is Being Held

Duhok, KRI (July 5, 2021) – Rwanga Foundation announced the 'Creating environmental awareness through art' project in a press conference under the slogan 'Protecting the Environment is an Art' in Duhok governorate. The project will continue for next 10 days in Erbil, Duhok, and Halabja governorates.

 

The project is being implemented by Rwanga Foundation in partnership with (Nahj al Iraq company - the exclusive agent of GWM) in all three governorates of Erbil, Duhok and Halabja to spread awareness messages about saving the environment in an artistic way through drawing environmental paintings on several specific walls of these governorates to deliver the environmental awareness message to the community.

The locations of the walls to be pained in the three governorates are (Duhok - Awaz School, Erbil - The University of Kurdistan – Hewler , Halabja - Amez Hospital).


The press conference was held by the Head of Rwanga Foundation’s Office in Duhok and the representative of Nahj al-Iraq company and in the presence of media channels in Duhok governorate.


Head of Rwanga Foundation’s office in Duhok, Afram Abdlahad said “The relationship between human beings and the environment determines our future, for that purpose, Rwanga Foundation and Nahj al-Iraq Company are announcing a project today to spread a message of environmental protection by painting the walls in three governorates of the Kurdistan Region".   

The project was previously announced on the World Environment Day (June 5, 2021) through social media platforms and is being implemented in July.
