Finance Training was Held for DoLSA Staff

Duhok, KRI (July 1,2021) – Finance Training was held in Duhok with the participation of 10 DoLSA related directorate and centers staff members. The training was facilitated by the project’s finance team as part of the ‘Capacity Building of General Directorate of Care and Social Development in Duhok’ project.

 

The second round of the finance training was given to DoLSA’s staff from the directorates and centers of Akre, Amidi, Sumel, Zakho, and Duhok. The training was an illustration for the developed finance system that has been developed as a part of the project by the finance team. Also, the training was a general introduction to finance rules, regulations, and standards.


The training covered the topics of (introduction to financial rules and regulations, the process of payment, the difference between government financial system and NGOs financial system, explaining vouchers and supporting documents, how to prepare lists of expenditures, how to prepare/submit financial reports, and finally how to archive files).


 “As a trainer, I see that these kinds of trainings will empower and enable DoLSA’s staff to perform their project assigned tasks efficiently to meet the required financial regulations and it could play a very positive role towards improving the staff's capabilities.” Said Chalang Yousif, the trainer of the course.

“I benefited a lot from the training as the information it provided me with were so necessary for me. The staff and the trainers were very kind, and they were qualified. To be honest, the training was useful, I wish the team all the best.” Said one of the training’s participants.
