Baghdad, IRAQ (October 4, 2020) – A delegation from Rwanga Foundation visited the Minister of Youth and Sports in Baghdad governorate regarding building more coordination between the foundation and the ministry.

The delegation was received by H.E. Mr. Adnan Dirjal, – Minister of Youth and Sports and Mr. Mahmood Khalaf – Director General of Public Relations and International Cooperation in the Minister’s Office in Baghdad,

Rwanga Foundation’s delegation consisted of Nawzad Abdulkareem - the Director of Programs, and Amanj Kakarash – Head of foundation’s Sulaimani office.

During the meetings, the delegation highlighted the Rwanga Foras International Job Fair 2020, which is planned to be held online on November 2020 by the participation of more than 100 companies and NGOs, the job fair will be a bridge between jobseekers and job providers, and provides trainings, panels, and internship opportunities for youth all over Iraq.

Furthermore, the minister expressed his interest in cooperating with the NGOs that are working to provide a better life for the youth, and their intentions for building a network between the government and Rwanga Foundation. He has also emphasized their collaboration for supporting Rwanga Foundation’s projects in serving youth of Iraq. Additionally, the minister promised to take a part in supporting the Rwanga Foras International Job Fair 2020.

At the end of the meeting, the minister thanked the delegation from Rwanga Foundation for their visit and their initiative in supporting the youth across Iraq.
