In March of 2015, Rwanga Foundation began a campaign to support the families of fallen Peshmerga who lost their lives defending Kurdistan. The campaign has benefited people from the Kurdish governorates of Erbil, Sulaimani, Halabja, Kirkuk and Duhok; each family receives $1000 with the total number of families to receiving donations topping 1000 as of today.
