The children’s handicrafts were purchased entirely within the first 2 hours on the first day of the event and all the profits will be given to the children’s families.
Attendees present were Nihad Qoja, the Mayor of Erbil; Dr. Roza Abdullah, Representative of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs; Representative of Erbil Directorate; Head of Municipality Police Department and several other officials from various KRG Offices, International NGO and companies and supporting individuals.
This project was initiated on 15 September and ended 01 December 2013 to benefit 150 street children beginning with the first phase of trainings to inform the children of the dangers and downfalls of being on the streets.
