Project Name: Street Kids/ Training Course and Follow up

Implementation Progress:
The Project is now under process. The manager of the Unsupported Minors Section gathers children on the street with the help of the Municipality Police Department. The Managers further pays visits to the families of these kids to take permission to let their children participate in the five- day course.
As to transportation of children, a bus has been provided to bring the kids back and forth to Lana Centre and home. Further, one staff members of the Unsupported Minors Section joins the bus to ensure the safety of the kids.
Since 1st of October, 69 children have participated in the course. The content of the course are social awareness about the danger of working on the street, child rights and responsibilities, hygiene, health and self protection, art and environment protection.
Two volunteers are working with the section on the Project. The first volunteer assists in facilitating the courses and finding children, and the second who is an artist, helps with art classes.
