Project Name: Workshop on Women Empowerment and Social Assistance to High School Girls

Implementation Progress:-
The workshops have started in the high schools. To compensate the delay caused by the election and one week Eid holidays, the section is carrying out two workshops in a week from Saturday through Thursday. So far, five schools have received the workshops. The workshop is divided into three days: Day one is about sexual harassment and how to control feelings of anger and depression through activities; Day two focuses on health concerns that girls face during their adolescence years which are presented by a Gynaecologist; and day three, is about the importance of self-esteem, and having goals in life and building healthy communications with parents and family.
It’s worth mentioning that along with the staff project, two volunteers joined the project and they assist us in various activities.
Data and numbers: 194 girls received the courses since the beginning of the project.
