Mathematics Competition is one of the projects of Rwanga Foundation that aims to encourage and motivate students to attend the science stream. The project creates a competition among 374 students all over Kurdistan to compete and win the title of ‘Mathematics Champion’ in Kurdistan.

Mathematics Competition 2021 is implemented by Rwanga Foundation in coordination with the Ministry of Education and sponsored by KurdNeft as Diamond sponsor, Darin Group, Erbil Int Hotel and Kavin Group as Gold sponsors. 

The Objectives of the project are to motivate the 10th-grade students to attend the science stream at high school and raise awareness among the parents of students about the importance of science stream.

Stages of the Competition: 

• Stage One: 374 students compete in the first stage to enter the second stage in which only 60 students will remain.
• Second Stage: 60 students compete of which 6 students will remain for the final stage.
• Final Stage: it includes two parts. In the first part, 6 students will compete live in which only 3 students will remain. The 3 students will compete live to win the title of 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place winners.
