The Second Stage of Mathematic Competition 2022 was held

Erbil, KRI (March 31, 2022) - Rwanga Foundation held the second stage of ‘Mathematics Competition 2022’ across KRI. The competition was held with the participation of 65 out of 464 students who were able to pass the first stage and make it to the second stage.


The first round of the ‘Mathematic Competition’ began on February 22nd of this year, with 464 students from six General Directorates of Education across KRI competing, 65 top students progressed to the next level of the competition. The best six students will then advance to the next stage.


During the final stage, the top six students with the highest averages will compete through a live competition held in Erbil governorate to win the title of ‘Mathematics Champion’.

Mathematics Competition is one of the projects of Rwanga Foundation that aims to encourage and motivate students to attend the science stream. The project creates a competition among students all over Kurdistan.

Mathematics Competition 2022 is implemented by Rwanga Foundation in coordination with the Ministry of Education. The Objectives of the project are to motivate the 10th grade students to attend the science stream at high school and raise awareness of the parents about importance of science stream.
