The HITEX Exhibition is Held in Partnership with Rwanga Foundation

Erbil, KRI (June 16, 2021), the HITEX Technology Exhibition is being held in partnership with Rwanga Foundation and by the participation of more than 100 companies at the Erbil International Fair.

 

The exhibition will continue from Wednesday till Saturday (June 16-19, 2021) from 10 to 6 p.m. More than 100 companies and agencies from 26 different countries working in technology and electronics  have participated in the exhibition and are showing their products, services and activities.  The exhibition also connects information technology experts and traders from different countries and companies. Also, the prime minister of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq , the deputy prime minister of the Kurdistan Region, the governor of Erbil and the governor of Sulaimani visited the exhibition.

 

At the exhibition's opening ceremony, Farhang Bradosti (HITEX Exhibition Organizer for 2021) and Abdul Salam Medeni (Chief Executive Director of Rwanga Foundation) delivered speeches.  "Technology is very important because it has a very strong impact on human life and have been developing constantly ever since the day human beings started  dealing with stones and fire to this day when artificial intelligence and robots are being mentioned too often" said the Chief Executive Director of Rwanga Foundation during his speech. 

 

The exhibition also includes the HITEX conference, which includes six panels, the titles of the panels are:

- Digital Transformation in the Government, with the participation of Dr. Dara Sherwani , head of the computer science and IT department, Dr. Ibrahim Hama Rash - Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UKH, Hiwa Afandi – Deputy Minister Head of KRG Department of Information Technology, Amanj Ali – CEO at Click Iraq).

 

-        AI and Robotics , with the participation of Dawar Karim – Chief Technical officer at Plus the Edge , Shamal Duhoki - Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Duhok University , Dr. Ismail Ali - Computer Science Lecturer at Zakho University , Hero Mohammed - Software Developer , Founder of Potan).

 

-        E- Learning Education, Education after a pandemic, with the participation of Abdulsalam Medeni, Chief Executive Director of Rwanga Foundation, Sangar Shekha, CEO and Founder of SoftMax, Dr. Randall Rhodes – President of American University in Kurdistan, Dr. Khatab Shekhani – General Director of Education and Planning at the Ministry of Higher Education).
