ERBIL, Kurdistan (September 9 and 10, 2018) - Rwanga Foundation in partnership with a number of reputable sponsors organized a two-day event of Rwanga Foras International Job Fair in Erbil International Fair at Sami Abdul Rahman Park between 10:00 am to 06:00 pm on September 09^th & 10^th, 2018.

The main purpose of the event was to provide a platform for job seekers and job providers to communicate about job opportunities, free training sessions on job hunting and social media for job seekers, and organizing panel discussions on topics:

• Do our universities produce employable graduates?
• NGO’s role in youth capacity building and the job market.
• Entrepreneurship and small business development.

The grand opening of Rwanga Foras International Job Fair was graced by His Excellency Mr. Idris Nechirvan Barzani (President of Rwanga Foundation) accompanied by Mr. Ali Sindi, the Minister of Planning and various invited VIP dignitaries on September 09^th, whereby 119 employers were present in the Job Fair and 15,832 jobseekers attended for the two-day event. The employers included Local and International Private Companies, Non- Governmental Organizations both National & International, and reputed Educational Universities.

Moreover, 140 volunteers were part of organising the event.

The attendees and jobseekers who participated in the job fair were able to meet the Employers directly and enquire about their company background with any vacancies available to suit their requirements. During the Rwanga Foras International Job Fair 1421 vacancies were announced from the employers, and 24,283 CVs were submitted from the jobseekers.

The Job Fair concluded on September 10^th, 2018 with a very positive feedback from the sponsors, huge number of visitors and youths trying their best to be employed by one of the companies that participated in the Job Fair.
