Rwanga Foundation and BCF Holds a Camping for NGOs

Erbil, KURDISTAN (April 30 - May 5, 2019) - Under the patronage of NGOs Directorate of KRG, Barzani Charity Foundation and Rwanga Foundation organized a six-day capacity building camping for local NGOs in Kurdistan Region.

The camping took place in Avdalan village in Mergasur district and continued for six days, in which 15 of most active NGOs in KRG participated. The NGOs were:

  • Borha
  • Civil Development Organization
  • Joint Crisis Coordination Center
  • Roshnai Tandrusti
  • Halabja Chemical Victims Society
  • PAO
  • Halabja NGOs Network
  • Harikar
  • Reach
  • Organization for advocacy of Animal rights
  • Economy with Numbers
  • Nishtiman Youth Network

The aim of the camping was to  build a good relationship among the local NGOs, capacity building for the members and Creating tolerance among different religions, ideas and nationalities.Al so, their members received below training and seminars:

  • First Aids 
  • Project Management Cycle (from Nzar Ali Sadula Tahir )
  • Body Language (from Dr. Fazil Jaf )
  • Monitoring and Evaluation (from Hogr Chato )
  • Importance of Post Crisis Researches (from Awat Ahmed )
  • Strategic Planning (from Dr. Sherko Jawdat )
  • Team Building (from Karzan Noori )
  • Fundraising (from Ferhad Sami )
  • Diplomatic Communication (from Hemin Hawrami )
  • successful management for non-profit organizations (from Dr. Heja Sindi )
  • Human Rights and Refugees Rights (from Dr. Kirmanj Osman )
  • Leadership (from Abdulsalam Medeni )

At the end of the campaign, a ceremony was held where the participants received their certificates.
