ERBIL, Kurdistan (April16, 2017) - Rwanga Foundation in collaboration with Career Development Center (CDC) of Soran University provided a training to develop the workforce skills of the students of Soran University.
The training wasorganized by the Career Development Center (CDC) of Soran University under thetitle of ''Workforce Skills Training: UniversityStudents Capacity Building and Employee best Practices for the Postgraduates".
Rwanga Foundation Team were part of the trainers who delivered the training using seminars,round table discussions, practical activities and question& answers.''Trainings were covering wide range of topics to the workforce including soft skills,strategies for establishing small business: entrepreneurship, employee best practices, strategies for workplace success, what employers look for when hiring new employees and job seekers?and what contributes success in the competitive job market,'' Said Shano Ibrahim, the trainer at Rwanga Foundation.
Rwanga Foundationtook part in activities to enhance the participant’s capacity building andstrategies for workforce success.
The training was attended by over 60 students of Soran University from different faculties, academic departments participated.Moreover, the workshop was funded by IREX Iraq Higher Education with the support of US Embassy in Iraq.
